Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian family book locket (circa 1860s to 1880s), crafted in 14k rose gold.
The beautifully detailed locket opens to reveal 7 hinged sepia toned original photos set within ornate frames (and 1 empty frame). The exterior of the locket features finely detailed decorative emblems, chased on both sides. The inside of the charm is engraved MJ David. Lockets were popular during the Victorian era, a time capsule and remembrance of loved ones. The locket is ideal worn as a pendant on a chain or worn as a charm on a bracelet.
The locket is in good condition showing light wear. We have not cleaned the charm in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
